About Floria
Named for the Roman goddess of flowering things.
Floria (flor-EE-uh) takes its name from Flora — the Roman goddess of flowers, spring, and the things that bloom. We borrowed the name because skin, like a plant, doesn't care about marketing language. It responds to what's actually in the formula. We write down what's in there, and why.
Skincare should tell you what's in it, and why.
Most clean beauty asks you to take a leaf-on-a-bottle on faith. Most prestige beauty asks you to take a clinical-sounding claim on faith. Neither one writes down the reason a given ingredient is in the formula.
We wanted to read that brand. It didn't exist, so we built it.
Floria is plant-rooted, ingredient-literate skincare for people who'd rather think than be told what to think. Every product publishes a full ingredient list. Every ingredient comes with a sentence explaining why it earned its place. Concentrations match the research. The exclusion list is dated.
That's the whole pitch.
Three things we hold.
-
Plant-rooted
Botanical actives carry the formula. Synthetics earn their place only when nothing plant-derived performs better.
-
Plain language
No clinical jargon, no fear marketing, no chemistry-class condescension. Just the reason each ingredient is there.
-
Mythological depth
Beauty is older than the cosmetics industry. We pull our naming, references, and visual language from that longer story.
